Even Wenger said that we deserved the win. When you're more biased and one-eyed than him, then you know something's wrong!
What a twat! I felt constrained to rate ( well, they did ask! ) I couldn't give it zero, so one for awful had to do. I suggest that anybody else who isn't a one eyed gooner does the same!
It's funny I have never noticed the relationship between Spurs and Luck before. We obviously have no right to be a point ahead of Arsenal and several in front of Liverpool - Again! Some one has added our points up wrongly we are clearly midtable fodder. Someone ought to mention this to Southampton as well, it's just not right that the top 4 is disturbed like this.
Apparently the later you score the luckier they are. It's skill before 80 minutes but all Eriksen's and Kane's late goals are just jammy
I always enjoy how its lucky when Lloris makes great saves to win us games but not lucky when Aguero or whoever scores great goals to win games for their team. I feel that performances of keepers are too often seen as separate from the rest of the 'team performance' - that a good goalie winning games is lucky, whereas a top goalscorer winning games is down to ability. Maybe there is a lack of understanding from most in the media about how difficult it is to be consistently a top goalkeeper, I don't know. And as SD said, consistently scoring late goals is nothing to do with luck - its fitness, desire and ability that gets you consistently threatening to score in the last 20 minutes, not luck.
Got to agree with this, we have de Gea, his job is stopping goals and like Lloris, he is pretty good at it. No luck involved with the saves, no luck involved in playing to the final whistle
The famous Garry Player quote after he had won a major and the commentator mentioned 'luck' The obviously annoyed Mr.Player replied: " Yes it's funny, the more I practice the luckier I get"
