Yep your actually right, it was the 1.40. The odds were shocking, had to stake 28.00 between both horses, to win a fiver.

Now I am confused. I thought there was a 1% bank limit in the stakes.

I don't wish to discourage new forum users but having read every post here I get the feeling that Sam is making it up as he goes along <laugh>

Honestly i'm not making it up as i go along, I have a strong system in place, that wins every day. Say if you have £1000, 1% winning would be £10 on the first race, if you lose the 1st race then you double up to £20 winnings.

    How does this system work?

It comes down to isolating a winner from two horses in the same race right?

Excuse any ignorance from me here though Sam, but how can that constitute a system?

Surely isolating a likely winner is what everyone tries to do anyway? I can't see how it can 'guarantee' a profit, because it relies on selecting winners, which presumably is impossible to consistently choose them?

What you haven't documented Sam is how much was staked on each horse at what price and how your bank is moving. If you look at Ardent's threads and my 2 threads you will see that all our selections and stakes and odds were posted before the races and a running account of proit/loss maintained. Called putting our necks on the block.

OK, so what i will do on the site, the only way i can do what your asking is to do the odds and stakes after the race has finished. Is that ok? Like i said before the bets go in automatically.

Before I go live, are there any questions or concerns? Granted the odds and stakes are a biggie but anything else?

There is no such thing as a horse racing system in my opinion. I think the real value comes in consistency- for example laying horses of odds of 4/1 or less (as I experimented with last season with an 80% strke rate from 27 bets resulting a level £1 stakes profit of just under £12). It can't class as a foolproof system though, and I doubt anything can.

This however seems like smokescreens to me. You have won this week granted, but sooner or later there could potentially be a clutch of losers? Really you rely upon the first and 2nd favs in the races winning in your selected race, and that is not guaranteed.
