Maybe not. 2014/15 might be the lie, the truth might be 2017/18.

It's not, these guidelines have basically remained unchanged since they were written in 2014/15.

Who saw a copy of them before now, as I thought there was always doubt of their existence?

The people tasked with implementing them (all no longer at the club, as they couldn't deal with the twats).

I completely get the criticism of the performance.

We haven't moved on from Sluts. Just because we concede less why does that mean we have progressed? We concede less, but we score far less, why is that better? For me as a fan it's worse. We aren't any better just because we are 'solid' 'hard to break down' means bugger all, what matters is points and we are no better off than we where.

What this shows up is how bad our team are, and how badly this squad was put together and we are fishing in the bargain basement market to fix it despite selling £50m worth of players in the last 12 months.

The crowds dwindled due to the stay away fans.
The abject dismal dog turd football served up by us and to be fair a good number of our opponents this season, has started chipping away at the ones who remain. We will be left with just the members and no "day trippers".
Mind you just because you pay DD every month you still dont have to go.......ahem....DW Gym membership :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0164-cash:<doh>

I assume that was one of main reasons for ‘memberships’ rather than season tickets

It’s classic choice architecture. (I’d recommend reading Richard Thaler on the subject)
Effectively watching City has become your default choice so to stop requires effort that most people can’t be arsed with. Same reason loads of people are members of gyms for far longer than they ought to be. Assuming that’s right then imagine what the crowds would be without a direct debit option!!!

(I don’t have a problem with that side of it by the way, it’s the same reason that organ donation will become a default...it’s all the rest of the **** from concessions to the name that I do have a problem with)

    ...crikey...that got heavy early...!

Thanks. It just seemed strange when I recollected some of the comment.

If we draw every game by ‘being difficult to break down’, then we’ll go down.

Saying that I’d take a draw this weekend...

We look a lot more like winning games playing this way, and with any luck we will start doing soon playing the way we are. We're not far off at all.

But we don't..... Bolton we where dire and have been very poor for a number of games.

Our defence won't keep clean sheets like that very often. We are playing for 1-0 wins, we don't have the players for this. Yes if we had a settled quality back four (Like under Bruce), that's fine. We are playing with kids who have made more individual errors than any other team in the league, you can't coach that out of players, especially the type of errors we made.

Slutsky knew our strengths and played to them, just not very well! We are no further on than we where, we are kidding ourselves if we think we are. This squad isn't good enough. Someone said it was a top 10 squad after Adkins first win, he looks an idiot now.

I get where you are coming from, but that assumes we are going to keep the defence doing this well, I highly, highly doubt we will. We need to score 2 goals to win games, we barely look like scoring 1. I am not saying get rid of Adkins that would be stupid, but I don't get what evidence there is of positivity in the results, the stats don't lie.

And how bloody boring would that be as well!

I said three years ago and last year, I don't care if we go down and go down fighting when we are in the Premier League.

We are now in the Championship and look like we are trying to scrape 1-0 lucky wins and rely on clean sheets. How far we have fallen.

It is well documented what the issue is and I can't be bothered going into it again.
