Saying there is no policy to avoid using the words Hull City is most definitely an 'alternative fact'...it's also bollocks

If we stay up there'll be doom and gloom.

If we go down there'll be doom and gloom.

    It was ever thus.

If we stayed up this season we'd only go down again in the future. Might as well get it over with now. In fact, with every team guaranteed to lose at some point, just end the heartache for everybody and shut the sport down. Put the Sky money into cancer research.

    This is more like it

All that positivity round here has been getting bloody tiresome

(now let's beat Palace and Spurs just for the hell of it)

If, last July, you had gone to a bookies and ask for a bet on which teams would finish in the bottom three at the end of the season I doubt you would have got very good odds on it being the current trio. Well done to Burnley for being the one that got away this season. It was obvious from early on that Sunderland were doomed. They should have gone down two seasons ago, but we lost a vital game to an already relegated team and we went down instead. Plus ça change. Middlesborough deserve to go down for not really trying. Karanka was too cagey and subsequently they were the most boring team in the division. I want us to beat Palace and Spurs (obvs.) but am not confident even that feat will keep us up. I'm still feeling sick about the Sunderland game and it will be horrible if Swansea beat them. If Marco Silva had been manager from the start of the season we might have dreamt of a top ten finish.
