I once had a boss who went one further and hijacked my work, especially reports, simply by taking my name off and putting his on. This was just simply irritating until he took something that had taken me six months to prepare and got a whacking great promotion on the back of it. Revenge was swift and decisive. He asked me to write a marketing and sales plan for a new product that he was going to tap the board up for around a quarter of a million to launch. It hadn't got a hope in hell of succeeding, but after I'd finished the report it looked like a World-beater. I went in to present the report to him (thinking I'd give him a fighting chance to suss it) and he didn't even want to discuss it - an hour later it was with the board, with his name on it. Three months and 250 large down the Swannee later, we'd achieved 1.5% of the target I'd 'predicted' - the product was dropped sharpish and so was he. Naughty Tewkes...
