It's brought back a few memories of my time in jail. There was a little Italian fella, in for fifteen years, who brought round a trolley with books from the prison library, I chose 'The Naked and the Dead'. Great book but sadly/happily I wasn't locked up long enough to finish it ... .. I thought about nicking it when I was released but thought stealing from a prison might not be the best idea
Canny little interview with Sunderland fan Peter O'Toole I happened upon from 1982... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0f3t3qv
This is 100% intentional many make sure they are never looking in their dogs direction when it's having a ****! That way they can play ignorant. Don't get me started on cats using my garden as a ****ing litter tray, nature etc I know still pisses me off though!
Room clearance and trigger discipline was dreadful as well. Anyone in there with any kind of cqb training would have stopped her quite easily. It's weird, normally these shooters are playing out some kind of fantasy, but she seemed to be just mooching about waiting for the police to turn up and shoot her.
Seen over the road that another huge Lads fan has sadly passed away....Ian Wake...63 years old. I didn't know him personally, but seen him at matches. I always feel that we're somehow a bit depleted when we lose someone like him, especially far before his time. Sad.
I agree mate, I always think back to the last game people will have seen and hope we win the next one for them. Probably daft but there you go.
Diane Abbott slams 'extraordinary' Starmer move and insists Corbyn will win as independent Story by Katie Harris • 4h ago Labour MP Ms Abbott, who is a close ally of the party's former leader, also said Sir Keir Starmer's move to block him was "extraordinary". Ms Abbott told Good Morning Britain: "Let me say, Jeremy is not and has never been an anti-semite. "It is extraordinary that we are going to throw him out. I don't know if he's going to run as an independent but if he does he will win." --------------- He will if Diane is doing the counting.
Scientists have taken video footage of the deepest ever fish swimming. Over 8000 metres deep, almost as deep as Everest is tall. I find that amazing personally. How cool is it there are still amazing things being discovered on this mad planet of ours.
Been a few times to both. City hall is a far better music venue than the arena. Acoustics are way better.
Advert on the radio today got me thinking, "what a crap job", working on the switch board at camelot telling people they're millionaires.
Inclusion, love it. All the other footballers that ware headphones to ignore people, they're the toss pots.
