Just read this in the Daily Echo, whilst I don't want to see Barnard jailed I can't help but think this gives a indication of what could happen.

And before people say its based on individual cases I know that but still think the worst could happen.
 
well with his operation looming, and a potential stint in jail it could be the end for Barnard here unfortunately as I really really rate him as a player but he isn't getting a chance at this level (no-ones fault of course)
 
Its not looking good for him.

We can only trust that the justice system makes the right judgement, as you have said it’s based on an individual bases but if Lee has committed a similar crime then he deserves everything he gets, in the same way it would be nice to see Dan seaborne’s attackers brought to justice, I’m sure that’s now a strange relationship at the club!
