On this, the year´s darkest of days
Could it be our board see the light,
And in one of many different ways
Help us to again fight the fight

It´s soon January window time
Where we more than often fall flat,
When seeking some to help us to climb
And are usually met with a straight bat

But loosening the purse strings might do
In a way we´ve not done so, before,
That would also give us a clue
Whether A.Neil will still take the floor

The popular view is ´give him the sack´
And that option is always there,
But he still has the board at his back
Even if some fans really despair

The worst thing, as far as I can see
Would be, the board stuttering along,
While Jan then moves into February
And the chance to spend is gone with a song

If they want him they must back him now
If not, send him packing with thanks,
To leave it much later will blow
Any hope of making the upper ranks.

As ever, nail on the head sir, however, I fear we will stutter along until it is too late to make any difference, although any other scenario is not guaranteed to make any difference, just look at Zola and Birmingham, the new manager bounce only lasted one half! :)

Yep, I agree Dave, the devil you know and all that, is often still the best solution. Interesting that the beginning of Swansea´s recent form dip pretty much coincided with them parting with another young, and apparently talented manager, when he was going through a very sticky patch - now starting to bounce back with Leeds. There´s no quarantee either way.

There is little evidence of things getting brighter for Norwich city FC and our season If they carry on with the current manager set up and form.
Another two months like the last and we will be looking at relegation. <ok>

Very possibly Donuts, but nothing more would be guaranteed, even with a new incumbent.

Difference is Zola took over from a manager that was managing a team that were punching above their weight, unlikely ours which is seriously underperforming.
