Driving home from work and seeing the stadium from the railway bridge on the Monday after a great performance on the Saturday. This feeling is completely absent if we didn't play well of course.
Things about football I love; for me one is the friendly banter between fans be it in the pub, stadium or on a forum, but another is when at work the guys will say "your lot played well at the weekend and deserved to win". Always feel proud with that one.
Seeing West Ham get hammered, with no clear philosophy, plan or strategy from on high. Ugly football, panic buying and a manager who doesn't seem to be able to positively impact a game. Then I remember that I get to watch Mauricio Pochettino's Southampton side at the weekend. Slick and energetic football, good technical players, and a club run by Nicola Cortese, who is driven, ambitious and calculating. I love that.
