Thin squad, injuries, yet here we are....

    But that's my point. If he doesn't play regular then you will get nervy performances. And let's face it Migs is no Reina on a back pass. Sure I would like a more experienced back up but not at astronomical wages like Given wanted.

    Another striker like Suarez would probably take our transfer budget. I think Borini may well step up next year. He's done ok at Sunderland and will benefit from playing in a better team. Assaidi I think will be sold. So another winger looks a certain.

    Defensively we are ok as long as cissokho goes and toure doesn't play too much. But feel there is a weakness at LB as Enrique's injury has shown.

    Our attack and Mig (at times) are the reason why we're in this position. Our defence and midfield have done their best to f*ck us up with so many individual errors only for our attack to save us. We had to score at 5 to beat Stoke, 3 to beat Fulham etc etc.

    However, I do feel that there is a real togetherness and team spirit now - pivotal moments such the Mig penalty save in the first match really set us off.
