    I've demonstrated many time in the past few weeks that lower Corporation Tax has resulted in more money for the Exchequer, and that in the past when it was 26% in 2010 to even when it was 21% last year, every year it has came down and every year, UKPLC has collected more money. You just ignore that fact, a FACT, and speculate, against all recent available statistics, that putting the CT rate up will result in more money for UKPLC when it's blatantly not true.

    I've also posted graphs and tables from the IFS to show that since the rate has come down, foreign investment has increased, meaning more jobs, meaning... MORE TAX etc but you are willing to speculate that, against all recent and readily available statistics, that taxing companies more will bring more money to the Exchequer.

    I haven't at any point said that tax intake has not been increasing. Not once. Go read my posts and digest.

    It is undeniable that an increase on tax will increase how much money is taken in.

    I doubt Sheikh Abdul will decide to stop making a profit just so he doesnt need to pay 5% more on it

    Its basic maths.

    These companies have grown fat on uk profits and are now ripe.

    This does not concern the little guys with profits under 300k who have been on the same rate for years.

    I might not run a business but i can see how yours failed.
