The interviewer on Final Score asked Nigel some question about the performance and got hit with about 15 Adkinisms.

Yeah, when Conan O'Brien left it all went downhill.

I saw a great episode the other day when Sideshow Bob showed the jury ( for parole) a tattoo of his that said "Die Bart Die" and he explained that it meant The Bart the in German and one of the juries said that any man that can speak german can't be evil <laugh>. Fantastic

The bit with the rakes in that episode is inexplicably hilarious, and all the witness protection stuff. One of the best episodes for sure.

Yeah, Bob and his beloved rakes <laugh>. The bit when the relocation guys tell Homer that he is now "Mr. Thompson". So Mr. Thompson *wink wink*................................Homer-" I think he's talking to you" <laugh>.

Delighted for him and it was great the support there today showed their 100% support for him...Only the papers spouting out the rubbish of him being under pressure

This should quieten the doubters for a day or two! Saints fans, we can celebrate tonight, then feet firmly back on the ground please.

I predicted 3 -1 with Rickie scoring two (check Aston Villa forum if you don't belive me! Thread's called 'Lambert is a Legend!'. Incendery? Hell yeah!). So nearly right!

Nigel got it right today. I have no doubts about him really. I'm sure he know what positions we need and I'm sure he tried to get more defenders. He will get the best from what we have and I'm sure a couple will come in January. We still have a long tough road to go but today we celebrate. The signings we got this summer certainly look good. NA can pick out quality. Ramirez and Yoshida looked good today.

The interesting tactical change that was interesting was we stopped playing "pity, patty" football and went back to how we played over the past three years.
No more short balls from the keeper, then ten passes across the back four before loosing it when we venture forward.
Back to the tried and tested method of plaing down the wings and diagonal balls up tp Rickie well supported by Lala and Gaston
    Well done Atkins!

And Lambert, think it will be a really tough game though, i'd be happy with a draw, Everton are starting to look more like the team that was challenging for the top 4 all those years ago and less like a mid-table mediocrity.

Got some bad memories of us playing Everton................especially at Goodison. A draw would be nice, a victory would be brilliant! Hope Fellani drops a bottle of Mayo on his foot this week. ;)

I know we are all very happy, but I think the OP should edit his abusive insult at gomarchingin. He does our heads in, but that line is not necessary.

Done. It was a bit out of order even though gomarchingin is a bit of a twit.
