Incidentally, I think I hold the world record for being banned from forums....SPN, Rangers Media, FF and Red Cafe

IP address banning is pointless. Too many ways to bypass that. Also, at home your ISP issues you a dynamic IP that may change at your ISP's discretion. You can also request it to change, or force it to change. Further, IP addresses are NAT shared in your place of work. Banning it would ban everybody in the same NAT share.

I'll never understand why ****s keep rattlin on about IP banning. It will, at best, only work in the very short term.
