There once was a lad born in Stoke
Who was good for a laugh and a joke,
Not very tall
But quick on the ball
Which he crossed for much taller folk

His wing play became noticed soon
And more clubs wanted him in June,
Nineteen eighty-six
To nurture his tricks
And ´Toffees´ it was, made him swoon

But alas his time there was rife
With injuries which caused him strife,
Wanting to get on
He saw his chance gone
So, needing a new lease of life...

...he moved once again down the road
To Oldham, hoping this abode,
Would help bring him fame
In his favourite game
If more of his talent he showed

And five happy years he spent there
Bringing the club and himself cheer,
So much that he thought
He wouldn´t be sought
By a club like our Norwich here

But a quarter million pound bid
Was just enough to lift the lid,
And bring him our way
And once more he´d stay
For five years, that Potteries kid

A favourite, quite soon he became
Who showed his talent for the game,
And penalties too
He took, and he knew
Just how to put them in the frame

A gammy knee ended his fun
But he´d had more than a good run,
And soon he would start
The management art
Now firmly a true Norfolk son

If you haven´t guessed who, by now
I´m talking about, then I vow,
You´ve not been awake
In class or in break
Neil Adams of course, take a :emoticon-0139-bow:. OTBC

First class RBF, I think he's pretty much won the doubters over!

More than convinced that he's the right choice (and yes, I've changed my mind!!!!).

The way in which he's persuaded most of last year's squad to stay and 'earn their spurs', as well as the astute signings he's brought in convinced me. The 'icing on the cake' was the way in which he almost did exactly what I suggested on Sat by taking Lafferty off and bringing Jerome on, tyo completely turn teh game on it's head!!! <cheers>
