Not got a season card mate just get in where we can when we can (dictates of work unfortunately), we were in the North Stand Upper bang behind the goal in the fourth row I think it was. Some of the lads did get behind the team but, these mentioned probably think we are Barcelona the way they go on about 5 of them all about 23/26 ish so probably not hardened to the ways of SAFC yet.
With the away fans apparently being moved (any update on this anyone???) It's a good chance to move away from the morons and leave them to themselves
There is a strange person who sits in fron of me, Scatty had the pleasure of meeting him on Saturday. None of the reasons given above apply to him, its simple, he is ****ing stupid.
That's my chain of thought mate. I'm hoping the SWC lads stay South, and then we get a full singing stand, rather than just the 1500 or so in the corner. Hopefully, without the break for the away fans, the atmosphere maybe will travel a wee bit more.
I had a similar problem last 2 seasons which nearly ended in blows if not for some swift intervention by others, i moved in the summer and now have a complete clown sat behind me. Thinks he knows all about everything and gives a running commentary which does your tits in at times but at least he's not slagging anyone off, unlike the other muppet. I'm not moving again, you can't pick your neighbours unfortunately.
I remeber at Roker Park even the stands had a chant "singing in the Roker" etc. maybe we've just lost our singing voices?
Connor is a World beater , don`t let the lack of goals cloud your judgement..... What did you pay Ipswich £10 mil? ,****ing bargain..
I'm in the East Stand and have a guy sitting near me who, I think, only goes there to complain. Every season he has one player who he constantly complains about. Even if that guy is having a good game he forgets about all the good things he has done and picks on an odd mistake he has made and, let's be honest, all players make a mistake some time in the game. I think if we were playing every team off the park he'd start moaning because he had nothing to moan about.
I sit in the East Stand and a lady next to me, she sits behind Sunderpitt shouts the same over and over again, push up, push up. I always smile, that and you need spects ref, the old ones are the best.
I wish..... I have nearly come to blows on a few occasions over things like this, and in my opinion this is one of the few negative aspects of having all seater stadia, as when it was standing you could just move somewhere else.
SOS Marcus didn't realise it was you in front of us. Only kidding. Personally I think Connor will be a damn fine player given time and a run of games in the side. With Bendys problems now he probably will get the games he needs. I never boo any of our players or the team whilst at the game. Prefer to vent my opinions on here.
I aint got a season card but go to most games and sit about row 30 slap bang behind the goal in the north stand there is some clown in there who goes with his wife and gives a commentry to his wife and she sits silent for 90 mins (Oh the joys of marriage) Anyway he was sat right behind me on saturday and i thought he must be on the phone to someone describing the game and when i turned to look he was talking to his wife who looked completely uninterested by his utter drivel and it was as if he thought she couldnt see the game. Oh and hes a twat when it comes to slagging players off also. Id have a go but hes about 6 foot 4 and built like the preverbial brick ****house.
When I first had a season card we were in the south stand. Back then you could get a season card there and the atmosphere was superb, you had the sound stad and the swc either side of the away section singing is stereo. We sat near some great people for 3 years but were made to move to the north stand upper after the extension. At that point they stopped offering season cards in the south stand. After the move the atmosphere did not seem as good and we ended up sat near some right muppets. At one every I got spat on by someone behind me trying to spit at a supposed mag 8 rows in front of us. Turned out to be an old bloke in a black coat with white Sunderland shirt under it. We only stayed up there for 2 seasons and now pick and choose our games. My other half has not been to a derby since the above incident. We have sat just about everywhere now, I personally like the east stand, plenty of good banter and a decent view.
