I've got a book about Nobby Styles. Some of them are quite interesting.

    Of course then there's

    Digger Dirtbox
    Ben Fudgepacker

    May I remind you all:

    Leviticus 18:22
And thou shalt not lie with mankind as one lieth with a woman: it is an abomination.

And you still think that's relevant, DT? Have you read any more up-to-date books recently?

Of all the hates, I really fail to understand the fear or anger that gays provoke. Interestingly, some of the most aggressive 'nutter' types that I have known (some at QPR), are not homophobic in the least. Are people scared that they will be infected by having a gay player or that they will get mentally raped if a gay person looks at them in the bath????
Not that I am saying racism or sexism or hatred of religions etc is always rational but I kinda understand how history and politics provoke one group to hate the other. The gay thing is about sex and preference - who cares? Or am I missing something? Interesting that Barton (nutter) was the only perm captain willing to talk about the issue and his gay uncle - no fear of being mistaken for being gay or he don't care what others think? Anyway - blah to the eye ties - it all sells papers I guess.

Best sporting names I've heard of are A **** (German luge at last winter olympics) and US motor sport legend Dick Trickle (I kid you not).

Gay? Who cares? My brother's gay and is one of the best human beings I've had the privilege of knowing.

Cassano probably follows the Italian trend of wearing leather jackets and spending hours making themselves look good which is a little effeminate to say the least.

It always amused me that the gay keyboard player with Faith No More is called Roddy Bottum. Dunno why.
