Tried to read Sartre's "Being and Nothingness" years ago, very hard going...however, keeping to the theme of French philosophers, I did enjoy Albert Camus' "The Stranger", a very good read! <ok>

Agree about "The Stranger" - a cracking read.

Sartre was a bit complex, as you say. I did enjoy "Words" and particularly "Nausea" (the latter being a condition I'm increasingly overwhelmed by when reading these pages! ) <laugh><ok>

We are one point ahead of where we were this time last year, with a decent run of games after ManCity. Get a grip, ffs!

Continue to bury your head in the sand, 30 PL games and 27 points returned, a season is 38 games, so in nearly a whole season he is getting a points return of less than one per match, with our run in we need to be safe with 4 to go. He will take us down if he is allowed to stay.

Last season is history. We finished in 11th place (remember?), but no matter. The reality THIS SEASON is that, having played 9 games, 5 of them against teams currently in the top six positions, we are marginally below track for 40 points minimum (try drawing the graph yourself). Furthermore, we are in a group of 7 teams separated by only 2 points, and a group of 10 teams separated by only 3 points. From which we should obviously conclude that roughly half the teams in the league have utterly hopeless managers.

Rather than accusing RiverEndRick of burying his head in the sand, why not try opening your own eyes. <ok>
