Shows how much luck is involved tbh...you can never tell who has the right mentality to improve and fight and who will do the opposite. I also think Bales awful injury in dec 2007 which made him miss 10 months of football and his struggle to regain his confidence the following season made him what he is... a highly motivated and driven man who does not take his football for granted
I'd have him at spurs as I think if he would put the work rate in (I think he does the minimum cos thats what hd has been allowed to do for so long) he could be very effdctive in a side like ours...same goes for Leicester. .. but only if he serious upped his workload
Walcott is s strange one. He clearly has attributes, that if used correctly, can be quite destructive on the pitch, but his performance for us this season were below par.He could well thrive in a Leicester or Spurs setup, but that's if he was willing to put in the hard graft. Ultimately his 140k week salary will put off many suitors, who would expect a consistent reliable goal scorer, which Walcott sadly isn't.
