Look, if we go down it could well be a blessing in disguise.

We will be the Barcelona of the 5th tier. ;)

But hey ho - we've listened to you bleeding hearts for most of this season, ranting and weeping. With the amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth emanating from over here I thought that someone was filming a biblical epic.

It's only right that you have to listen to us bemoan our rubbish team.

A lot of them seem to have had a bit of a chip on their shoulder even when I was a school lad.- Never quite sure why. Personally think that they will be safe, not on the basis of any merit, but that the 2 clubs below them are even worse.
The fact that they lost at home to Torquay, is pretty dire, but Torquay have already left it too late.

Or you might do a Darlington, Scarborough, Maidstone or Boston and go into the 6th or 7th tier, or worse fold completely and never be heard of again.

Then there are the likes of teams in the Conference now such as Lincoln, Wrexham, Southport, Kidderminster and others that are destined never to get back to L2. Torquay have already been there and came back. Will they manage it a second time as quickly ? Doubtful I'd say. Their geographical location also hampers them and it must be relative luxury having Plymouth and Exeter in the same league whereas Gateshead away is one trip they wont look forward to.
