Just another load of complete blarney, ****em I hope they end up penniless and destitute, because if they stay that's what will happen to the club.

Basically, they don’t want to sell now as that would realise a huge loss on their part.....

Wouldn't it be great to know the actual truth of the figures so far.

There’s nothing evident from the last set of filed accounts to suggest that they’ve pocketed anything material....

there was nothing to link many godfathers to murders or racketeering, but we all knew they were at it, Surely these people will have top accountants who would be expert in hiding things away.

All accounts will have been audited by a reputable company. Indeed, the same company should have been doing the auditing for many years and possibly before the Yanks got involved. It is quite difficult to hide money and the club's finances should be pretty straightforward with not much opportunity for hiding things. Most money out is for wages and unless they have huge numbers of ghost employees (a big thing in Russia!!!) then the can't filter out money that way. Other costs seem to be reasonable and all owner-related expenditure must be declared.
One question: are Kaplan and the other guy actually millionaires or do they manage a hedge fund of some millions on behalf of 25 or so others? There's a big difference but they should be charging the hedge fund for their inputs....not the club. But those persuaded to put up the purchase price will get nothing back except through dividends and (possibly) management charges. I also think opportunities to siphon money off to the US football club are low.

The CFO is Welsh - plus The Trust Director (Stuart MacDonald) is an Accountant with access to the Management Accounts.

They’ve not received Dividends: are there Management Charges paid to the Yanks? Dunno

Is the coupon rate on any loans at a penal level?

You just have to find the angle, it will be there somewhere for sure, they have not got control of the club for nothing, it was the TV revenue that they were after.....<ok>

The angle is to grow the business and sell off later. Dividends will never get so good to make it all pay. it's capital growth that does it and is their method of choice from previous investments. That has taken a it for the moment and you need to get back to the Prem and grow there.....rather like Liverpool and Man City to name two who have grown well. Utd too. When they bought in, you were cheap and had potential to grow. It went tits up due to subsequent performances....and maybe the Laudrup loss was the tipping point. However, it needed the owners to chuck something in the pot to keep you in the Prem and enable you to develop into a solid Prem member and they didn't do hat. I can't help thinking there's little on the bone to strip now and the good news is, that if they are going to get something out of this investment, the club must succeed again.

The Conclusion is that it does not matter one bit what the owners do, They can do what they like and guess what......there is nothing and i mean nothing anyone can do about it......I think like thousands of other fans and growing that the Americans are the saviors of the club and have worked out why we were going backwards at a rate of knots these past 4 seasons and spending a phenomenal amounts on players who wanted wages well over the top for their actual worth......They are putting a rescue plan to get our club back on a sound footing and that meant off loading most of the high earners not doing their job they were well paid to do and the ones who wanted to leave because we got relegated who a few are now in a worse position. The Americans have said it will take time and if what we see today is amazing in a very short time and shows they are right with their long term plan.....Gone is the players that just want the money, You have to want to play for Swansea city and accept our new wage policy which will be a good fair wage and contracts will be in the control of the club....What better people do we want to make our club better who has the experience they have.....There isn't any and we dont know how lucky we are to have people committed for the long haul with a goal of making the club great again......

But the person who authorised the transfers, salaries and oversaw the club going backwards for the last 4 years is still involved pulling 600k per annum. Not bad for a failing business.

What difference does that make....He is part of the new plan and must fall in line with what is happening.......His wage is low compared to some and must be worth it.....He works hard behind the scenes i bet....

But he’s the man responsible for the mess we’re in. Even the man himself stated that if relegation came he’d have to consider his position.

How sustainable is it to pay players a lot less than they could probably get at other clubs though ?
It's all very well saying they must fall within our wage structure, but whereas at the moment it's usually the bigger clubs that come in with the money and buy our top players - Everton and Gylfi, Liverpool and Joe etc, it could end up that teams like Burnley, Bournemouth, Huddersfield etc could swoop in and take our better players because they can earn more with them - even if we're along side them in the PL.
