Beware the Croatians in a penalty shoot out .

Outstanding particularly after going a goal down.

If only the Netherlands had turned up 80 minutes ago - might have won the game.

They were pretty relaxed, and saved themselves for the end.

    Great changes .

Some long ball football worked and a very clever free kick

After all that Dutch comeback Argentina held their nerve better with decent penalties generally.

    But no reds.

Either players got lucky or he didn’t want to totally be the main talking point ?

Messi was one player who didn’t get booked but should have done.

It could be very difficult on some city streets in France Duggie - there are over a million Moroccans living there (and i guess the Algerians will join in). After the win over Belgium there were some very unsavoury scenes in Brussels, Antwerp, Liege but also in the Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam (all of which have large Moroccan populations).

England weren't at it today. Deserved win for France. England flatter to deceive... again... yet again.

They make us so proud. What does it say about the sort of people they did this for? More of the same puerile, backward attitude we have for the rest of the world. Like we still regret the loss of the Empire. And it’s so embarrassing for those of us who don’t share that mindset, and although I am sure that is a sizeable majority, I bet it won’t come across like that to the French. <doh> :headbang:
