Anderson is England's best player and he's a ready made replacement for any of our cms tbh. It'll be difficult to get him even if we want him, because rumour has it that Man City are sniffing around him. We have priorities above CM following Ramsey being bought, so not for me. We need better than Barnes and a better fullback option than Trippier right and Burn left. Our first choices are excellent. It’s getting tougher to improve the squad.
Yeah, those names you are listing to improve on should be the current replacements (if we ever had a fully fit squad to choose from). We have better squad depth now and improving the actual first 11 will typically cost a lot of money now, or take time for youth development progress. Unless we really do somehow unearth some true gems.
