Current form suggests I'm some way off adulthood fortunately.

Not a hint of trouble here. The Welsh have been good as gold but clearly don't like the English. I expect there will be plenty from both sides off to Lens purely for a ruck.

Got Austria v Hungary tomorrow which I'd like to think would have an edge given they were one country.

Adulthood is solely defined by developing a taste for wine, nothing to do with behaviour.

I think Fingy/Eamon is going to Austria v Hungary, I have encouraged him to dress as the Emperor Franz Josef.

I'm strongly considering an assassination just to see what happens.

Apparently Blue Nun has improved beyond all recognition these days, not that I've drunk it anytime in the last 35 years ......maybe it's just a branding issue....

Germany does produce some brilliant wines both Red and White that are reasonably priced.......

Sometimes I just love my job - Have just spent the last 3 hours quaffing and slurping Fog Dog - A fantastically delicious Pinot Noir from Sonoma.
I am delightfully pickled - apparently the latest fashion when one is suitably pickled is to tell everyone to **** off or at the very least tell our beloved RRRs to just ****ing win!!

Am going to do something tonight that I've never done before - Attend something that is quaintly called J Day - There is a more than 100 year old tradition that the arrival of the Christmas Brew is celebrated with free drinks in EVERY drining establishment.
I am so pickled that I will attend this attrocious event - Mois? I normally attend T Day in the Whiskey Belt, eagerly awaiting the first delivery of truffles.

I'm a Kilburn snob and I love it, there I've said it!!
I love my RRRRs, as much as I try not to.
Isn't that what being a QPR fan is?

It’s 4 in the afternoon and you’ve been on the booze for 3 hours at work?

    Are you hiring?

Mate, this place is made for you - I know you've only experienced the more sterile part of CPH .. next time heh

A great weekend to all and we're going to make history (a draw is more than enough)

They're calling for me now, tara, I've got my Champagne Taxi Tony outfit on :)

No self-respecting Ned would be seen without a wee half bottle of Bucky hanging out their back pocket on a Friday night <laugh>

Hope it’s in a good cause Trams, or are you letting off the fireworks? Though I’d be surprised if the execution of the gunpowder plotters would be celebrated in Ireland.

The new house white, Picpoul de Pinet is in play tonight, though the remains of last night’s Malbec are looking accusingly me at me for later.

Just back from Waitrose, where they are offering 25% off wine and champagne if you buy more than six bottles. So I bought 18 to be on the safe side.
