Yeah. I agree, the alli deal.looked great on paper til.anyone pointed out how little he actually cares.

Right now if they don't stay up they are in a.more precarious position than that last day survival.in the 90s.

Well, if they survive this year, can they survive next year? Would they just be delaying the inevitable. They can't really spend much considering they have the FA and UEFA already watching them and the current squad isn't going to magically get better.

I wonder if they can even afford to change managers before the next season if Lampard continues to bottle it?

neither the FA or UEFA are watching them but the PL are being shown their books and being consulted and a few other PL clubs are contacting forensic accountants as i type :bandit:

Will there be 3 worse sides and can they get rid of lampard?

It's hard to know as Brentford have to sustain what they have done, bournemouth and Fulham are certainly not giants and it could be anyone in the play offs.

    Then there's leeds.

I am sure richarilson will go. But after that these players are under delivering big time.

There's already talk about the board having had an emergency meeting yesterday about Lampard's future. I wonder what the fan who spray painted 'Pereira out Lampard in' is thinking now.

That have not played us yet.

That deluded so and so thinks they will beat us and stay up while denying us the title and lampard will rub it in.

If we beat them they'll tar and feather lampard

    More big big results.

Norwich winning has done Everton a massive favour.

Brentford winning has put them safe imo.

    Leeds played 32 points 33
    Everton played 30 points 28
    Burnely played 30 points 24
    Watford played 31 points 22
    Norwich played 31 points 21

Leeds just need 1 more win or a few draws to be safe.

    4 wins out of 8 = 12 points.

It's not unheard of but unlikely for sure.

    Congratulations to EVERTON for surviving.

Watford are waving white flag already
Burnley basically shot themselves, bit on cyanide and told the nearest soldiers to burn the bodies before the Russians find it.
    Norwich are just ****.

those of you who voted LEEDS and BRENTFORD.

    bad luck.

I can't remember the name of the "principle". But there is a theory that, if a newspaper article asks a yes or no question, the answer is almost inevitably "no".

I guess that theory can apply to forum posts now too. We should have named the thread: "Will Everton stay up?". <laugh>

I wouldn't be surprised if Burnley actually do no worse and possibly better than they were as to me the only logical conclusion is this was due to the players wanting a change.

Probably want the pay out and slash and burn the contracts.

they were at 70% turnover to revenue so will probably be accepting this drop based on all the players out of contract and that they will all have reductions for championship

they've been up a long time so who knows whats in their heads
