I think the teams will do there best to not let the #2's qualify ahead.

But if they try that wouldn't they run the risk of being out qualified by the rival team?

Well I might wait until at least the end of Q2 before voting. But safe to say I'm not going for a Merc driver.

Ferrari holding something back in FP2, or struggling with the cooler night conditions?

Seems like the cooler conditions affecting them a bit.

Ferraris PU is getting a bit long in the tooth now considering how they were going through them at the start of the season.

The Red Bulls look very strong. Well, at least Merc and Ferrari look weak. Toss up between Verstappen snd Ricciardo, have plumped for Ricciardo as I can see Verstappen making a mistake round here on his current form.

    Bottas will not get pole.

    Ricciardo looks good for this.

Max will ram someone. Could be either championship contender.

Imo if ricciardo is in first corner first then the two championship contenders are in trouble with brake and engine temps etc.

I actually fancy a blown engine here.

I reckon max will do something here... but not something positive. I think ricciardo will win this if he's quali is as good.

We don't know where vettel is after his rub of the barrier.

I would switch to ricciardo but I just think Renault are as likely to blow up here.

Can't make my mind up on this one. Could go Ricciardo, but then there's a fair chance Verstappen could totally t-bone him in to the first corner if they lock out the front. Hmmmmm.

McLaren could get good results here, if the engines last. It's a twisty circuit with plenty of opportunity for energy recovery, which seems to be their main problem. gonna hold off voting as every time Danny has looked good enough to be worth going for in FP he's bombed out.

Gone Ricciardo... Can't see Hamilton doing 3 back to back, Vettel might be on the downward and Max will inevitably explode (possibly self inflicted). Bottas or Kimi could be in for it if all those trip themselves up.

This year possibly , but they will be jealous of Torro Rosso . Honda bloke said their aim next year is to Finish top 3 .

It COULD happen of course , and my aim is to win the Lottery ...

FP3 and Fernando Alonso is ahead of Kimi Raikonnen Ferrari AND Valtetri Bottas Mercedes.

    Absolutely astonishing driving from him.

Say what the hell you want about McLaren- they ****ed it up in 2013 and 2014 but I'm absolutely adamant that Prodromou has got their chassis and aero right back with the big boys. Just what would they be doing with a good engine?

Edit: Vandoorne just a tenth back in 5th!

Still think the Mercedes is the best car it's just a lot closer here and like Monaco it's a drivers track so engine power isn't as important.

Is it going to be all Merc in quali though once they turn the engines up (if you believe that genuinely happens)

I think the Bulls will take quali front row....that is if both cars recover from P3 scare - the brush with the wall from Danny and the auto gear changing on Max's car. The second row will be very close I think.
