Think Begovic is being slightly underrated in here. He's a good second choice keeper and would still be first choice at a lot of other sides in the division. Don't fancy our chances at City, although they've had a dreadful pre season too. If Aguero is fit he'll have a great time.

We're so obviously unprepared not just on the pitch but off it too. We're a good 2-3 players short as well. I suppose at least if we carry on this way for the next couple of weeks we'll hopefully take notice and get some players in.

  2. It could just be bad luck/timing for The Smug One, but I doubt that Mad Dog will have much patience. Add to that, the fact that Mourhino doesn't strike me as someone who's prepared to be reasonable in an argument, and that if a rift does begin to open up between him and the Russian Godfather, it could quickly escalate out of control. I see the next two games as being critical, not just for Chelsea, but for The Smug One's career.

He's just signed a four year contract

  4. I know, but what does that mean to Mad Dog?

The arrogant expectation of Mad Dog would have been, "i have the best manager in the world, and he is going to win everything all the time."

Drawing at home to Swansea, and almost losing that game, looking sluggish, and with the possibility of a loss to £ity to come... I cannot imagine that Mad Dog foresaw any of that. Remember, that Mad Dog has made some bizarre, even irrational, managerial sackings.

Does this mean you're going to stop supporting Chelsea if your hero Maureen gets sacked ?

  6. As you know, I don't support Chelsea.

Setting aside your very poorly crafted wum-attempt, I will try to give you a reasoned reply.

I am, actually, a fan of The Smug One. i think he is a great manager, and I cannot image any club in the world that would not want him as its manager (even Real will come round, in time). He clearly knows the game, and he clearly has the knack of getting the best out of players. Chelsea are mis-firing, at the moment, but make no mistakes he will get them back on track - if Mad Dog gives him time.

The big X factor in all of this is Mad Dog. He ripped his way through some good managers in order to secure Mourhino, and he did so because he believes that Mourhino has the Midas touch. I cannot image that Mad Dog will be content to allow The Smug One to go on a losing-streak.

Then again, he did blow £50 million on Torres....

If you look at points gained maybe. But we dont normally play well until a few weeks in with last season being the exception.

Just because wenger has developed some great players recently who has been developed of note recently. Ramsay, koscielny and if you want to argue bellerin.

Wilshire, oxo, walcott gibbs have become good players but would probably have got there anyway.

My point about wenger developing players and they plateauing off, of recent years who has wenger bought or developed who has become world class/superstars. He did it back in the 2000s with vieira, henry and cashley cole and arguably bergkamp. He hasnt done this in a while.

Piskie just doesnt like that when arsenal players leave they take a step up and wins things.

As for our game against city i fully expect us to draw at best but more likely to lose even before yesterdays games.

Erm ... he's already managed Real mate. He only lasted 3 seasons, had plenty of hissy fits there including walking out of press conferences and poking Villanova in the eye like a schoolgirl in a fight.

Bloke is a Pussy when the pressure is on.

Rumour has it, Cuadrado slashed the route masters tyres and Chelsea couldn't move it from the car park. Awaiting delivery of 8 new tyres.

I don't think it's the worst thing a keeper has done this weekend. Did you see that idiot yesterday? Gave away a penalty and got sent off? Cechs mistake pales in comparison.

It was the cleaners fault, he did not clean the toilets to a high standard and the players were not happy with the bog paper

Thought the keeper kept the scoreline down as it could have been 3 before they eventually got their first
