4-3-3 against this Liverpool without Botman, Hall and Gordon is suicide.

Erm, did you not see the Arsenal semi-final?! We completely changed and it worked. It's the only chance we have. Trippier's not able to play RB, particularly against Diaz, and Livramento's not a LB. At a push Krafth in at RCB of a back five, but for me what worked vs Arsenal was having Murphy as RWB; Tino's better than him, so play him there. Trippier can be good at organising even if he's past it, Targett's the only fit left back we have.

Midfield four shuffle left when in possession, Willock is then LM. Barnes is an option from the bench.

As I say, 4-3-3 with these players is suicidal.

 

Barnes should play left wing it's his position and he can score from there.. We need to actually win the game not hold on for a point.

The fwd positions and midfield 3 are fine, the full back positions are fine.. It's the cbs and you can't fix that by reinventing the wheel.

 

If we start like that we'll be beaten before half time. Stay in it, frustrate them, see what happens.

 

We don't like..our best bet is probably penalties, unbearable as it would be.

We didn’t “sit back” vs Arsenal, we had a plan. I’m just saying that plan is our best shot. Going toe to toe with Trippier at right back, Barnes left wing and those CBs is madness!

If we sit back we will lose and if we attack we will lose. If we get a goal maybe they can get lucky and hold out.

You clearly didn’t see it. You followed the ball around which is the camera man’s job. You didn’t see the whole picture. The off the ball movement, the marking, the professional fouls, the set piece changes, the off the ball runs.

could have sworn Plymouth and spurs beat them too playing all out attack oh great analyst

 

Losing Botman is the biggest issue.. Despite the way people carry on about Trippier he's capable on his day, I thought he played well vs Arsenal and vs Brighton. Livramento loses nothing on the left imo and Barnes is actually a very dangerous player when he's on the left.

It's a cup final you've got to have ****ing go man Roland.
