as you have just stated, my thread read "poxy sheep shagging welsh fa" i said nothing about the entire population of wales engaged in sheep related activities!

anyway why didnt the FAW simply state, as an FA we are not involved in team GB football team due to polical reasons that may arise with FIFA, however we would be privaged to have players from our proud nation if selected to take part.

FAW aint govern swansea or cardiff from next season, so what ever power they may have now will drop by 90%. from the way the media are portraying it, sounds as if it came out of the blue, and they weren't spoken to about it. if that is the case then I could understand why, if not have no idea what their reasoning might be

In the great scheme of things, it isn't for the FAW or their Scottish equivalent to decide. Someone will pick a British side with Gareth Bale being a racing certainty to play, all other things being equal. Wales as a country are not exactly favourites to go to any world cup in the forseeable future.

So if you were to offer Bale & others in a similar position the play for the chance to win an olympic medal, they'd be foolish to refuse.
