If you bought me a beer I'd order the most expensive one in pub and then say "here's to Cellino".....<cheers>

I've got no real life problem with you chippy, or anyone on here, I'm not a person hater however, it would be nice if you could talk about football from time to time instead of your hatred for Cellino, there's no one left on the planet that doesn't know of your agenda......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Who the **** knows if what Haigh is saying is 100% accurate. He worked for them for long enough, helped them buy and run the club and was still happy enough to fly out thinking they had another job for him.
I don't blame Cellino completely for the state of the club and when he bought I had high hopes he would take us forward. Sadly he is making us look like a shambles by running us like some small town Italian provincial club he used to own. We have a dead man walking as a manager, no one with an ounce of talent prepared to take the job, no CEO, head of recruitment, no back team coaching staff, no head of academy, linked with no decent players when we need ins and outs, team that don't know when to come back from holiday, no preseason games organised, two first team players (all be it **** ones) let go from a squad that finished 13th. But yeah, none of that is Cellino's responsibility and he still expects the fans to buy season tickets early as he expects promotion <doh>

Pyschobabble, your blind love of him is almost as cringe worthy as your avatar. Do you not question anything he does or how he is running the club?

I apologise if my style of writing comes over as a hater or someone who dislikes you, I certainly don't hate you not even in the slightest.

I find your support for Cellino frustrating at times and yes, blinded but it doesn't mean I dislike you. <ok>

I know there is a poster on here (Hopkins?) who gives you a bashing from time to time, I believe I only replied once with a comment along the lines of "how to make an entrance" as it was their first post. I try to stay out of it as I assume you and him have some history from another forum.

A close mate of mine is a Leeds supporter, we are always having heated debates on Leeds United matters, we don't dislike each other, just very strong differing opinions.

Haigh did say no other offers and there probably wouldn't be a club if Cellino hadn't stepped in.

I used the @ symbol LeedsLover rather than click reply, I didn't realise until afterwards that if you use the @ symbol in front of a name it tags them.

General chat lads abused the tag system so much the functionality was removed. You previously would get a notification that would direct you to the thread you were tagged in

This is the worst myth still existing about Cellino. When Haigh says that there was no serious offers on the table you have to remember it's coming from a man who is exposing the incompetence and corruption of GFH during his time there but then still went to try and get a job off them before being jailed. I would take his testament with a pinch of salt.

There was definitely a serious offer on the table to buy Leeds by Together Leeds (supported by Verity and Andrew Pearson - remember him from that month last year when we were almost run like a normal club) and even Sports Capital (Haigh's bid) had made a bid of 3-7 million which was being revised lower during due diligence having seen what a mess GFH were in/were leaving.

GFH were desperate and would have had to accept a sensible offer (around 5 million) until they made the approach to Cellino to come buy Leeds and suddenly all of their Sunday's came at once and they found a sucker who would pay over the odds of 25 million for just a 75% stake without doing due diligence. If he had acted sensibly and professionally and had seen what a mess he was buying into then he might have thought twice about paying over the odds. Of all the **** he's caused not doing due diligence for me was his biggest mistake as it now means that if he is going to get his money back the club is massively over-valued so is going to put off buyers until he is desperate and has to sell at its true value. (either that or he needs to find someone with a lot of money who is prepared to pay him off and throw money at the problem but even then I think there's issues because very wealthy businessman tend to like to do business in a sensible professional way which is not something you could ever accuse Cellino of doing)

As nobody else stepped forward and put money on the table, that means in my books there were no alternatives. In car sales terms they are known as tyre kickers

    http://www.skysports.com/football/n...lost-out-to-massimo-cellino-wants-leeds-talks

They were prepared to go to the Football League with proof of funds but GFH were not interested in talking to them because they had found a buyer prepared to pay them over the odds and on ridiculous terms.

In gambling terms they are know as patsys and GFH couldn't have in their wildest dreams thought up a bigger nor more perfect patsy than the one they found.

For ****s sake who spends £25 million on a car without even lifting up the bonnet to see if there is even a engine.
