    I grew up in the thick of it. To leave it behind has demanded gut-wrenching compromise on both sides by all directly affected. Kids born 20 years later making hard- line public gestures add no value to maintaining a fragile peace. End.

    I didnt. Like I said live 50 miles from the border but thats like another world. Only experience was on tv, whereas people like Davy, having lived there, couldnt avoid any of the horrors

    You're 100% right Eire,having lost a lad I went school with to the IRA no way would I have anything to do with anything if I truly believed it to have anything to do with them.But would I disrespect the Northern or Southern Ireland national anthems no,and to stand there taking money working in England shows he has no morals at all.
