A MASSIVE crash has closed the A19 in both directions.
Details are still coming in, but it is believed up to 19 vehicles may have been involved in the incident near Peterlee.

Durham Police said: "In the last hour alone, there have been 20 traffic collisions on a single stretch of the A19. We'd like to reiterate our advice that drivers DO NOT make non-essential journeys. Please do not underestimate how treacherous driving conditions are at the moment!"

The old days at roker park the groundsmen spent 5 days with burners getting the pitch ready for the derby the snow would be piled 5 foot high around the pitch, and the match went ahead !. I used to work in this at Bishopwearmouth cemetery in the 1970's as a landscape gardener on £22 a week, my toes and fingers were numb. I have taken the daft hehe out and won't use that word again haslem, thanks.

If you hadn't added the hehe I genuinely would have liked this post Monty. Actually I'm going to like it anyway but a touch begrudgingly.
