I'm going to play a little game and I hope a few of you join in.

Many United fans recently have been bemoaning our apparently below-par midfield over the last year or so. Now let's just imagine that Fergie realises he's wrong and you're all right, but he just doesn't know who to get. Fortunately, he knows the most knowledgeable people in football are on football forums. So he's asking you who to buy! He's not particularly computer-literate so he's asked me to communicate on his behalf. He just asks that your choice fulfills these 4 criteria:

1)Not too expensive ie. VALUE
2)Would be happy to join us
3)Actually good enough to hold down a position
4)Would fit into our team.

defour? only question is whether he would hold down a place, but hes surely gotta be an improvement on what we have.
 
Albrighton - because although not the best around has the enthusiasm and grind that Fergie loves plus is young enough to learn to hone his skills and become outstanding
 
He's pretty versatile for someone so young. Fergie's notorious for moving people around and getting the best out of them.

Yes, he's a right winger, but has played left wing several times successfully. I think the biggest problem with him is that he's being pushed out for "big" matches in favour of older more experienced players. I think at OT he would become a more rounded, more experienced player, slotting in pretty much anywhere SAF puts him

well why didnt you go for him in january al? i mean, carrick might be great at old trafford where he has mountains of time on the ball but when away from home and hes hasstled and hurried all he seems to do it give the ball away. what about that get well letter you sent to him too, al? i know you wouldnt just do that if you wasnt really interested.

also, if you want someone who can keep hold of the ball and use it intelligently, dzagoev. also chips in with his fair share of goals too. i remember a cracker against us last year at old trafford. come on al, spend please
 
102 points to be exact! i know we need to strengthen with a gk in the summer al (may i call you al) but ill be most disappointed if we dont strengthen the middle of midfield
