We can't even sell Ndombele. He's an absolute write-off and he'll be here for another year.He is though, that's the thing. Ndombele has had more good performances and statistically done more for the club than Richarlison...

I think our biggest problem when it comes to spending big is that we're largely buying players with the hope they turn into the value calibre of their fee, rather than buying players that are already seen as the value calibre of their fee. So if/ when they don’t reach their potential you’ll have overpaid by a considerable amount.
Our top ten highest signings are as follows (from 10th to 1st): [ snipped but acknowledged] ...

Only in the canteen.Doesn't change the fact he's done more than Richarlison (and Lo Celso) so far though.

And for getting the club bollocked for his Lockdown-dodgingOnly in the canteen.
It's worth pointing out that Paratici's initial role at Juventus was technical Director, with Beppe Marotta working as their Sporting Director/DoFFrom : https://www.not606.com/threads/transfer-thread-fact-and-fiction.343033/page-1882#post-17050507
So which of the original proposed dimensions does this relate to ??
I assume nothing to do with 3/6.

Based on this, with a pinch of wooly logic thrown in, this suggests that Munn is the one who sets out the strategy for the window while Lange does the groundwork
The interesting part of the official press release is this sectionThe suggestions I’ve seen are that Munn’s is basically an administrative and management role - he runs the football side of the club with some responsibilities that a traditional DoF doesn’t have. Part of that is obviously deciding at a very high level the strategy (data-driven, what the decent is for, etc) and making sure the right people are in place to execute it. While he’ll probably be involved in negotiations I suspect it’ll be more Lange involved in co-ordinating player identification, scouting, shortlisting etc.
There’s also plenty of suggestion that Paratici will continue in his ongoing consultancy role for the time being, which I’m fine with as it seems to be all above board and you can’t deny he has an eye for a player.

Lange will have responsibility for recruitment, analytics and talent identification across our senior and academy teams.
Obviously his most recent role at Villa had him coordinating their academies, so it does appear a top-to-bottom pipeline is being laid so that there is a path from academy to first team
Also, on a side note, the FC Copenhagen team from when he was Technical Director were a hell of a lot of fun to watch

Petit-pois, Rodney! Petit-pois!We've been run like a market stall for far too long.

4. DoF
For me, this is the biggie for on-pitch matters,
and it literally has to be all or nothing.
The one who controls, and is fully accountable for :
- setting the technical requirements for the capabilities of
any player that emerge from the academy pipeline
- ensuring the scouting networks are top tier
- selecting the manager of the senior squad
- providing the best personnel (coaches, physio-logy/therapy,
fitness, nutrition, data science) , and having them work together
to get the "global optimum" for the N-variable problem
- acquiring (for a given transfer/wage budget) those players
that will serve the needs of the club
Executive summary :
A1 - commit FULLY to having a DoF responsible for ALL of the above
