The walk out on 60 mins

What a pointless exercise. Its just all a bit pathetic for me. We wait until the last home game of the season when we have been on our worst run. If people felt so strongly they should have done it in November when the team was flying. Or maybe Villa at home in Feb if its the lack of investment. It is going to be so lame doing it now. First off to the outside it just all seems a bit "I'm not happy with results - protest!" and secondly its the end of the season so will soon be forgotten. Such a poorly thought out and ill judged event, that will have zero impact on Ashley.

If he invests in the summer, I'm sure some dimwit will think "the protest did that".

What is the aim of all this is my question? To voice our frustration at such a lack of ambition? He already knows this, he just doesn't care so nothing will change in that regard. To try and force him out? Yeah right. Will it force him to replace Pardew? Don't be silly, he'll only replace him if it suits him. All evidence suggests he doesn't care what fans think or he'd have replaced him already, he's had enough reasons. There is no tangible outcome.

 

If I was going I would walk out on 23 minutes to highlight the fact that shola has been cheating a career for so long

Sod it I'm going to walk out on 45 minutes for a loo break and then be a rebel and do it again on 90 minutes to go home.

OK its the last home game,but I don't think its pointless. Most fans have been frustrated this season and have been happy to pay their money. But six loses on the bounce is enough and Pardew has embarrassed the club and fans with head butt.

 

Pardew is also shooting himself further in the foot by having a go at the fans. Arrogant bastard!

 

1. It's a worldly visual gesture of discontent
2. It will worry Ashley that there's more to follow
3. It will to some degree look bad for his business
4. If it encourages any fans to stop the money supply to his back pocket it will be worth it.
5. It will look bad for sky and he won't want this form of embarrassment, even with his super thick skin.
6. And doing nothing is the lazy option!

 

Don't understand people that say it'll do nothing.

Protests and demostrations has convinced Ashley to put the club up for sale twice before. On the second occasion he even admitted he'd put it up for sale because of the protests.

So if anything a walk out/protest etc can crank up the pressure on both Pardew and Ashley.

It's starts off with a walkout, if things continue then next season one game my be completely boycotted by 15-20k etc. I'm not saying it will work, but 50k turning up and doing nothing hasn't had the desired affect so what harm can it do.

When we played/beat Valencia away in Europa this year a whole stand disappeared for 10 minutes in the concourse at the start of the 2nd half in protest to their club. I gave them great kudos for it and it looked really effective


however their board and manager still remain, but it did seem to galvanise the squad and results thereafter. Hopefully for us Jacks it doesnt have the same effect on the day as it did against us, as we stuffed them and I dont want any gifts to our noisy neighbours tomorrow!

Sad to see you lads like this, both Pardew and Fat Mike have to go, not one or the other. Take Pardew out and nothing changes. He didn't sell Carroll, Ba , or Cabaye. Outside your goldfish bowl other fans see this. It's the Fat Lad not Pardew who has let you down. Anyway, Hope we can all squabble like f**k next season with the Derby.
