Its about time we beat Wales. Bale and Ramsey are as good as anything we have but we have better squad as a whole. 8-0 England.
Man for man the English will say they are better but England just don't seem to perform and play as a team. The Welsh have built a great team spirit and they fight for each other. Quality is also there alongside experience. Williams and Taylor are regulars for Swansea, Allen looks a different player when he plays for Wales, Ramsey gives us goals from midfield and Bale gives us something England don't have in a World Class player who can get us a goal from nothing. There are others who will play a part but we will beat England and top that group.
The train ticket guy agrees with you, apparently I can't do that on here. Rules everywhere you turn nowadays.
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/can-wales-beat-england-euro-10593100 There are two England teams. There is the bold one they could choose full of real young talent like Ross Barkley, Jack Wilshere, John Stones, Raheem Sterling, plus the energy Spurs midfielder Delle Alli could give and the frightening pace and goals Jamie Vardy would offer. Then there is the one Roy Hodgson picks. Loyalty to his tried and trusted men. Gary Cahill, James Milner, Jordan Henderson. Wayne Rooney, even, dare I also ask? Let’s hope two more Hodgson stalwarts, Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines, are fully fit again and back in harness in England’s defence by the time Wales face them. Wales will have far more to fear if Hodgson dramatically evolves the team by the time of next summer’s finals and goes with the athleticism, energy, pace and technical ability of his younger brigade. But evidence tells us he is a conservative manager who does like what experienced warhorses like Cahill, Milner and Henderson bring to the England party. Hodgson has begun making the much-needed changes , but some of those have been enforced by injury. So let’s see what happens when he names his XI for the Euro opener with Russia. If he sticks with same old, same old, it will play into Wales’ hands. Yes, England sauntered through qualifying with a 100 per cent winning record. But they also cantered through World Cup qualifying for Brazil 2014. And we know what happened once they got to South America. England 1-2 Italy, England 1-2 Uruguay, England 0 Costa Rica 0. England have yet to prove they can punch their weight under Hodgson on the major stage
Goodness I hope not. There are only three managers that I despise so much that they would make me not support England. Woy. Mourinho. Fergus. I've hated going this long with Woy in charge. I would die if Mourinho took over.
