City said to be still interested in VVD. Chelsea's interest said to be keener after their defender got a red card...unlikely I would have thought....may be interested but I doubt a short ban for a player would make you throw 50 mill at the problem....especially when Virgil is probably not ready after such a long lay off. It's almost like they make this stuff up.

 

Tom 28 on TSW says we will get 3 bids next week 2 from the prem...1 from abroad.

 

Easy solution then - sell abroad if they meet the value

Indeed it would but I think the Chinese have stopped the massive bids...
Also they are like the Americans and don't tend to throw the big money at defenders

Only teams in my view from abroad who have the money is PSG,Real Madrid,Barcelona.

Unless three have made initial inquiries about whether it is even worth bidding? That would not make sense if Liverpool bid (although maybe that is where the "2 perhaps 3" part comes from)
