I would still pick Wilshere ahead of him as I think he's a better player. I'd also pick Barkley in the middle ahead of him too. Simple as that really for me, my own personal opinion.
I reckon Wilshere is massively overrated. You need someone with a massive engine in the conditions we'll experience. Barkley for impact off the bench.
Wilshere is not up to scratch at the moment, so I agree, but he may come good, so Barkley would also get my vote.
Firstly, who gives a **** if they didn't react like Valencia? I can almost guarantee if Valencia went in on Sterling like that you would defend the reaction given. Anyway, the point I was making is that nobody said he tried to injur Valencia, just that the challenge was reckless and could have easily done damage and that there is no need to go in like that the week before the world cup. Secondly, I didn't misread him at all. I don't even know what he was on about with Rangers, I made a joke about him being biased which you clearly didn't get.
You misread it mate (pg2), Sterling wasnt even in senior teams 4 years ago, you thought he said Raheem in the OP when he said Rangers. No need to be so hot under the collar
Yes because Raheem looks like Rangers . I actually thought maybe QPR. Don't tell me what I did either. I made a joke, end of story.
This is why I diddnt want hendo or raheem playing for engerland, when we fail miserably scapegoats will be needed.
It's certainly looking like the press are gearing up ready to torch him, as soon as England invariably fail. There's still time for Stevie Me la, to come up on the rails though. He could cap off the ignominy of overseeing the title being blown post his now infamous huddle, with the slip and Crystanbul - by leading England to abject failure in Brazil.........
He won't be if he has a good tournament for once. If he is a **** as the last few, of course he'll be looked at - as all the best players should; including media darling Stevie Me.
Maybe if they didnt decide he was the reason we failed before the world cup started he wouldnt have the pressure of the entire country and could be left to do what he does. not sure if anyone has noticed but Wayne Rooney is a pretty good footballer who offers more than most on a football pitch. Last time we didnt pin all our hopes on him, he was one of the best players at the tournament......
If you want to be considered World Class you have to cope with demand and expectation. That's what separates the good from greats. I really don't think anyone is pinning all their hopes on Wayne anymore, frankly we're all a little wise for that now.
Genuine opinion. I think Rooney is still a very good footballer. I'm sure he'll start and I sincerely hope he comes good. However, I don't think he's quite the player he once was.
Wash your mouth... Rooney will be the scapegoat no doubt about it and he will have deserved some flak. I am still not over the **** performance of the United players all season. And I would have the ****ing RS attackers instead of him if he is underperforming for England too
His slip v Zidane cost us in 2004, and he went missing in Glesenkirchen and Bloemfontein. How many big games does this guy have to bottle before people forget Istanbul and er.... West h And er... Olympiakos
John Terry's slip in Moscow cost the Chav's the Champions League but it never stopped you loving the racist two timing ****.
