You've more chance of winning a major before him tbh.

Is it Sky/Nike not giving him the credit he deserves, won 4 Majors in 2 years same number as McIlroy yet McIlroy was leading sports earner last year, just asking?

McIlroy is a big name, his name and face would be known to even people who don't watch golf which is what sponsors want/need, big names to sell their brands. Even though Koepka has recent success hes still not that well known outside of golf yet.

Aye I get that, sponsors, faces etc I hack around on a Saturday morning off 15 and enjoy it but never any Nike gear in my bag.
Media led anyway, sports news in Ireland will say "McIlroy comes up short" then they tell you the winner of the tournament, which is wrong in my eyes and you'd wonder why all of a sudden Woods and McIlroy want to play in the Olympics!

Golf these days is a Tiger and Rory love in, the rest just get in the way. Even yesterday for example, Rory was about 12 shots behind the leader and on the 15th or 16th or whatever and Sky are showing you almost every shot of his, **** the guys that are actually in contention lets see Rory plod around the back 9 playing for **** all. Its always the same these days, we see every shot from Tiger and Rory but only see the rest when they make a good shot.

There was one commentator saying that but for one bad nine and a few missed putts, McIlroy would have been in contention because he ultimately had a decent last round.

A good last round in the morning. With no pressure. With no 40mph wind that the actual contenders had to deal with. If he had have been in contention and had to play in the afternoon with the wind and pressure he'd have shot a 5 over final round ffs!

Good job Woods missed the cut as we'd have never seen a shot by Koepka or Johnson. Unless they hole a bunker shot or long putt, as that's all the TV are bothered about showing.

Anyway, I won so it's all good. Will come back for the Open.
