I have a suggestion in which, I must confess, I have a vested interest. It seems that there are no takers for the remaining ten team letters: how about that those of us who have drawn the ten drivers least likely to score in the Valencia sweepstakes get a second chance with the untaken letters? What do you think?
I would disagree, but I'm happy to go along with the majority view. In the end the mods have to decide because they're giving the points away and it might be considered completely unfair that you get a second chance if you have a crap driver. What about those of us who aren't entered into the driver sweepstakes? We're picking up scraps anyway and for someone from the tiered driver section to come and take points away from us as well... it could be considered a bit rich. And what's to stop whoever has Vettel saying he has no chance because of the engine mapping ruling? If the teams sweepstakes is filled up then we'll need to introduce tiers to it. You haven't even given bartering a chance yet. Ultimately, it is about the luck of the draw. Just some ideas.
Yeah. At the moment (with no tiers) only one person will win. If I get Red Bull and cowboyfromhell gets HRT then it's pretty much over, unless both Red Bulls crash out. In the drivers' competition, if the Williams both crash out and Liuzzi finishes ahead of Team Lotus and Virgin then it's full race points for Max.
