I think BLS suggested Thursday but if all the numbers have gone by Wednesday that'll be fine.

The weekend should be fun if Hamilton has another stinker.

I'm happy to fill in the gaps if needed then. If we're all filled up by Wednesday then we can reveal them then, but I won't be about till after 9 on Wednesday, probably.
I'm about Thursday evening if we need to wait till then so its all good

 

I have a question for the future of this stupendous game.

If a team overtakes another in the constructors, such as Williams overtaking Torro Rosso, does that mean they go up to the next tier? For that matter, shouldn't Renault be in the top tier and Merc in the middle as that's their order in the WCC at the moment?

 

I have thought about this and I did ask in the Monaco thread whether Renault and Williams should be bumped up a tier. For the moment I'm going to stick with the tiers set as they are. I might review it after Valencia or maybe during the summer break. If Williams are consistently beating a Tier 2 team or Renault consistently beat Mercedes then it might make sense to swap things around. Monaco wasn't the race to base these decisions on though and it doesn't really matter: it's not as if people know which team they're choosing when they make their picks and Force India or Toro Rosso are as likely as Williams to beat the other Tier 3 teams.

The tiers were not devised based solely on WCC standings. Budget, potential and previous history were factors, too, but it wasn't a scientific method. It was just a case of splitting the field up to make the results more interesting for people who didn't get Vettel and Red Bull.

Having said all that - if the majority think it's worth basing the tiers on WCC standings I'm happy to do that on a race-by-race basis. It'd save further discussion on which teams go in which tier.
