You'd know better than me I suppose. From what I've seen of Herrera though he looks a brilliant player.

 

Herrera wasn't in bold though.

I'm not doubting for one minute he was a contender for the award. Like I said; Young, De Gea, Herrera and Rooney were the only realistic candidates.

The others you mention are either inconsistent (Blind), injured half the time (Carrick), not good enough (Fellaini), and were a sub for too much of the season (Mata).

 

LVG's speech was hilarious. He doesn't lack passion.

Some of you have taken exception at Barton and the BBC's comments about Gerrard's hairstyle, so I'm thinking a comment about his bird would have resulted in a meltdown by a fair few. Particularly if it was reported by #bbcsalford...

 

I must have a different perspective on the world.

Gerrard's hair has been the same since he was 9 years old.
