Iv'e learned through life mate, that people give opinions, normally plastic people but opinions all the same. My honest opinion is me, like it, lump it or **** it, it's me ok..
I think the revolt in the Ukraine was by the people wanting a voice to be heard and not herded like cattle anymore. Georgia 2008, the Ukraine now and no doubt the baltic states in a couple of years time. See the pattern? Putin has systematically put himself in government in Russia for the past 16 years now, an idealist with a communist head, a bright man without a spark of integrity. You hand something over, whatever the era you have done it. Don't go back 60 years later, cause anarchy and annexe it for the good of your political future. Lets say, in 2004 if the Japanese after 60 years had caused anarchy and walked in and re-taken the Philippines would the world have not lifted an eyelid?
He's a modern day **** mate, remember when that Russian nuclear sub went down to the bottom of the sea a few years back. It was a minefield to try and get them out alive, every ****ing decent western nation helped on that rescue mission. Putin held a press conference and grieving relatives shouted out, the next thing sympathetic bints in long leather coats were grabbing them in a caring way and ****ing jabbing them with needles to docile them & quieten them. Russia will never change, human life means **** all, The route to the top means everything..
as said below, if this kicks off its WW3 or above as it will be now the under currents are scary mate we need to stay well away, cameron was not exposed or quoted on the world news scene and that can only be a good thing, the **** hasnt got a clue niether has his spin doctor otherwise in my opinion would have said **** all. "he offered full support against russia" ****ing lunacy!
Didn't quite grasp that but I doubt a WW3 scenario. Tit for tat for a while and another 'cold war', remember the 1st? If one farts the other farts louder, and the rest..
gonna ring you in a bit dad, i'm livid with work class, dunno mate this to me is huge, to me its been simmering for over a half century potentially along with other fueds (i.e the us) when russia make a move it scares me. we all know they want the world
I'm going to bow out now lads, my choice and all that. Time to stay in the real world, not much fun typing if someone needs you eh.. Be cool, be safe & chow..
Putin is a grade A populist Lawro, no doubt about it. Ukraine had to tilt West to genuinely try and run a democracy, grow the economy and get off the heroin that is Russia. Good for them. They don't really need Crimea but need to save face and prevent any further encroachment. Russia has its fleet in Crimea, so its only expected they'd take this back. The small mercy is they didn't roll the tanks in or worse. Partly enforced, wholly illegal referendum but practically the only outcome esp given the Russian speaking dominance. Putting up the gas price is their counter move threat, which will hurt Germany most, but that's a short term move. Long-term, not even that long - 3 years maybe - their dominant export position globally will be gone. the US will take over. Russia has nothing in the coffers and outside Moscow and St Petes the infrastructure is v poor. They need to diversify, and are, but getting too cocky and agressive will hurt them if Europe switches suppliers, which it will. Does Putin care? Does he fcuk. He's had a good run and coined it. Do most 'local' Russians recognize this? The smart ones do, the idiots and nationalists don't. We have offices there and theres a 50-50 split on this whole move, which is making things difficult to say the least. It's a weird one, but i'm not surprised whats happened. at least it's been quick without any major violence/armed conflict. I just hope it stays that way and Finland doesn't have to front line the bastards.
