Anyone that names themselves after the prick Joey Barton has a screw loose.
They're all bitter and twisted 'victims' of the Cortese reign, still hoping Rupert Lowe will come back and rescue us from that nasty little Italian man. How dare he ban Illingsworth!
Most of them arn't, actually, a few from saintsforever post there, probably before your time, but was the best southampton forum there has ever been. Plus a few of the saintsfun lot post there.
Can't say that I'm a fan of it either. I go on there about once a month, and usually regret doing so aftewards.
Saintsforever was a great site. If any individual epitomised the phrase 'glass half full' it is Nick Illingworth. He may also (and possibly Joey B) enjoy negative feedback thrown at him, which for Nick, seems to be in response to his consistent negative reviews. Maybe its a self fulfilling prophecy!
Illingsworth is hated more because he thinks he should take it upon himself to be the 'voice of the supporters'. Twat.
Yeh he does, but you would of thought that by now, he'd have cottoned on that most Saints fans don't share his view in the slightest.
I always laugh when the echo goes to him for a quote. I mean they could atleast make it not obvious their just trying to stir up trouble because one 'fan' out of thousands is unhappy, no wonder classy Nic doesnt wan't to associate with such rubish.
