Only a religious nut would believe the truth always comes out. Though having said that, a larger than 'normal' percentage of footballers seem to have god delusions so maybe he really believes it.

Well there may be principles at stake (good when you can afford them) as per pierre van hooijdonk or they may be some truth in the Mojo's gossip that says he has sympathy amongst the players.....
