As per usual, I'll answer my own fricking question In seven games, Brad Jones has gained two clean sheets
It's a minor and vaguely interesting table and it's nice to see keepers get something - it's meant to be a bit like the golden boot. Nothing to get annoyed at really!
The whole defence could be rewarded though. Like, give them virgins and wine or something. Keepers should win something on shots/saves ratio after being in the top 5 of clean sheets. <ok.
Also a clean sheet in a game you've won 4-0 and faced only two shots is pretty worthless when compared to a clean sheet in a game you won 1-0 and faced 10-15 shots. Tho' to be fair you could make the same argument about strikers - two goals in games your team won by a single goal are worth more than a hat trick when your team won by four or five. But let's not turn this into RVP vs Suarez, eh?
