Just from my own personal experience ive witnessed a lot of borderline negativity from my mag mates and probz a bit of reverse psychology/trying to cover their own backs. Lots of "id be chuffed with a draw" "uz are defo favourites" etc etc In all honesty I think we have a better defense and forward line and Newcastle have a better midfield so I think it will be tight. With our recent additions the prospect of a capitulation similar to St James is vastly reduced however if I was a betting man (which i am) Id go for either 1-1 or 2-1 Sunderland.
im not here to make friends with sad skunks who spend 24/7 on this board or anybody in that matter i have a real life thats why you only see me now n then (thank **** i here you say ) hehehehehe
I feel that we are in a similar situation to last year where you are, once again, the favourites. Last year I would have been happy enough with 2 draws from the derby games, and this year is no different. I'll just be glad when this one is out of the way as derby games have a terrible effect on my bowels!!!
Aye know what you mean, the build up, the banter, the tension, the consequences, the months of stick ull have to put up with if the result doesnt go ur way, wudnt have it ne otha way tho. The day i'll start worrying is the day wen it doesnt mean as much, which will neva happen! I do chuckle wen i see the "we're guna beat uz 10-0, uz r this or that" banter tho, bit too schoolground for me no matter which side it originates from. So in conclusion..... Sunderland 9 Newcastle 0!
