    I think a loan from the council, especially of that magnitude, is optimistic.

    Well, I seem to recall there was talk of the Council using a compulsary puchase order to buy Fratton Park for around £2.5million if the club folded anyway so its not like the idea's been plucked from no where.

    If the council said no, I doubt any of them would get re-elected. I would say that's a fairly large incentive for a yes....

    I would imagine that the PST have had a lot of conversations with PCC, they wouldn't have plucked that intention out of the air with no indication that it is likely to be successful.
