I'm pretty sure the mods aren't here to make threats such as allowing posters banned for good reason back.

 

Thing people seem to be forgetting is that there is a trial going on Friday so they need to stop posting some of the crap that was on that thread (and some of the subsequent ones). The thread got invaded by some of the bottom feeders that stalk the forums so it needed deleted IMO

I can only imagine that given what AJ had said prior up to today's court hearing, (as in his not guilty plea to the charges at a previous hearing), and presumably right up to today's case opening while he was at the club everyday for the last few months, that the club had no choice but to back him 100%.

The club, from the board, down to the greenkeepers and the girls in the bars must be devastated to see him admit guilt to 2 of the charges.

That's a massive massive stab in the back to the club.

I previously posted that if, IF, he's found guilty, he's dead to me. I'm sure every mackem supporter will feel the same way.

And all those fans in the stands, who, on the basis of innocent until proven guilty, supported him with chants or whatever, the treachery of Johnston in acknowledging that support, must be even harder on them.

Give Minxy a break guys, not aimed at anyone specific. Just because you lose the GC lot off here, don't mean to say she has not got to deal with them elsewhere. Now I've not read what has gone on apart from a quick scan but as someone said if this guy is up for trial and even though you are behind a keyboard you still need to be careful with what you say. I have seen first hand incidents where social media users have been sought for prosecution for libel or what ever its called, for far, far lesser topics than this. If you think they wouldn't chase a site like 606, to bring a member into court, you seriously need to have a rethink, take that or leave that as you choose.

It was a long long thread Billy. She needed time to see who was doing what.

She could have closed it and be done with it, but she opened a new one knowing that some of the GC lot had been banned so that the discussion in-house could continue. She didn't have to do that.
