Just trying to think this out on what we've without leaning on my personal feelings.

Jury can only take into account the facts on display. Inconsistencies are inconsistencies, why those inconsistencies are there will be harder to prove than the charges themselves.

Defence will likely ask why she didn't say all in the first interview, then they'll likely ask why she felt her own father wouldn't believe her when leaving out details with him. They're are going to argue it could be because she has a history of lying and manipulation(as many teenagers do) to the point she felt her own father wouldn't believe her. They'll draw point that it's impossible know when she's telling the truth or not. They won't be able to prove this of course, it's just waffle, but neither can the victim with her reasoning. With no evidence for either it doesn't help with reasonable doubt, what a Jury needs. It's probably did happen and I'm sure the inconsistencies were due to innocent reasons, but they are there and with any number of unprooveble reasons as to why they're there, it won't come across well for the prosecution case. The defence will be able to argue all the doubt they want. If the CPS wanted to prove these charges everything needed to go swimmingly, no inconsistencies, no hesitation. Bet there's thousand of rape victims who've lost out their justice because twisting space in their accounts.

We're feeding off scraps mate, but it's a public interest case. You can't expect people not to try and work with the info coming out. Before the trial fair do, but now it's started? No chance.

I also think the likely hood of media outlets being sympathetic towards AJ in their representations will be slim to say the least.

This is going to be an interesting case this and will probably prove that cash can buy innocence. Being able to kick a football around (mediocrely at that) imo and think '**** it, I will do what I want', is pretty much on a par with the '**** it' attitude of thousands of migrants who seem to think a Country's borders are 'Go' on the monopoly board without any passports or identification.

Anyway, waffling and my opinion aside, this piece of crap got a 15 year old lass in his car, whatever happened is anyone's guess but he lured her there, none the less. Now I have a 6 year old daughter that looks about 10, long blonde hair and in a few years she will break hearts. If some ****ing punk, footballer or not lured her into his car when she was just turned 15 and he was 29, I would get to the ****er somehow and physically castrate him and send his privates to his parents as a reminder that respect, dignity, knowledge and manners begins at home from a young age to your children.

Rant over, absolutely hate the scrawny piece of ****..<ok>

It doesn't matter if the girls story isn't 100% to me. They definitely met in his car and he definitely groomed her. He's in the wrong either way.

The fact that the **** was mindlessly chatting away to staff in the court, when the judge had to tell him not to, and he was smirking leaving the court, tells me everything I need to know. He thinks he's above the law, I'd love for the judge to make a special case of him and bring back capital punishment.

    I agree with that :emoticon-0100-smile
I'm just thinking that there are flaws in what she's, apparently, been saying, that the Orlando fella will take advantage of . . . . and that could lead to what I said earlier about a lesser punishment than deserved :emoticon-0101-sadsm
