At the start of the summer I thought the top priorities were as follows;

Priority One- Protect the back four
Answer- Tettey.

Priority Two- Improve the back four
Answer- Whittaker, Turner, Bassong, Garrido

Priority Three- Attack with cautious incision rather than in reckless waves
Answer- Snodgrass, Butterfield

Priority Four- Finish clinically
Answer- Kane

All in all we have definately progressed. I think another genuine DM and an established striker would have been even better. Thoughts?

I think we've done well. We can't get everything we want because we aren't man city but we've upped the ante and I look at some of th play from last week, including the goal, that included played old and new and I'm encouraged. I'm glad the goddam window is closed but I'm bracing myself for hurricane(hurrikane?) Vaughan...
